The American Cancer Society (ACS) is proud to hold the 2022 ACS-Jiler Professors and Fellows Conference, with support from The Harry and Elsa Jiler Memorial Fund.
The biennial meeting brings together top recipients of ACS-funded cancer research grants to exchange ideas and facilitate collaborations between established professors and early-career investigators. The theme of the conference is “Trends in Cancer Discovery and Translational Research”, with scientific sessions focused on precision oncology, personalized interventions in cancer care, cancer evolution, cancer epigenome and RNA regulation, and cancer immunology. This year’s event, held in Dallas, Texas, November 3-5, 2022, at the Fairmont Hotel, will also showcase poster presentations by all early-stage investigators and hold panel discussions and round tables to promote professional development and facilitate networking.
“This is a highly interactive symposium designed for our current research awardees to engage closely with the ACS professors, who are some of the best and brightest minds in cancer,” says
Dr. William Dahut, Chief Scientific Officer at the American Cancer Society. “The ACS strives to provide a supportive community throughout the careers of our funded scientists and alumni. Facilitating the exchange of information in a collaborative manner accelerates scientific discovery, builds symbiotic partnerships, and leads to meaningful impact on our patients.”
