The American Cancer Society recommends continuing to follow CDC guidance to protect from COVID-19. We are all still learning about the ongoing impact of COVID-19 on people with cancer.  People who have a weakened immune system, either from cancer itself or treatment, may not be completely protected even if they are fully vaccinated. It's important that all cancer patients and survivors, whether currently in treatment or not, talk with a doctor who understands their situation about precautions they may need to take.
